Alexandre naît le 28 avril 1893, dans le hameau du Billiac . Son père Pierre, était meunier et originaire de la commune de Ménéac dans le Morbihan.
Sa mère Marie Anne, était née à Loudéac.

Soldat de la classe 1913, Alexandre porte le numéro 296 au recrutement à Saint-Brieuc.
Incorporé au 41e régiment d'infanteriele 26 novembre 1913 , il passe au 94e régiment d'infanteriele 02 février 1915. il est Mort pour la France
le 25 septembre 1916 à Rancourt (Somme)
